Review summary

This was our first cruise, so we don't have a bar to measure things to.The ship was clean, the food was pretty good, especially the steak restaurant. The entertainment was really good. We went every night and enjoyed them all. It was good times.

If there is something special you do not want to miss I would. Also if you plan on any of the specialty dining you can and should make those reservations too.

We are going in June as well, already booked all excursions fishing.. fishing.. fishing!!! I would think excursions are subjective to your interests. We booked ours weeks ago and had to go to second and third choice due to them already being booked.

Hopefully Alaska isn't foggy.......we couldn't see 1 glacier!! Too dangerous to navigate!!

By chance were you on the Sawyer Glacier cruise. If so, we're there a lot of glaciers to see? Also, what would you call a "must' excursion to go on? Thanks for any feedback!

I was on the Jewel to Alaska in September 2015 and it was a great trip Alaska was awesome...excursions are well worth the money
