Review summary
This could have been a WONDERFUL cruise, but the "entertainment" was too obscure - ONLY in overcrowded theater and not well communicated!! Calling the bands "musicians" was a stretch of a good imagination!! There were SOME good entertainers that I found on the 11th day of 12 - too late to enjoy them. FreeStyle Cruising is a cover-up for cost cutting and crappy food. The ship is too big for any handicap people - you must walk a mile to get anywhere and all the places end up identical to each other. Cruise director needs to get an ear for sound and a new suit that fits. Food was cheap, greasy, and poor quality. Kids should not be allowed on cruise ships - unsupervised children could have led to major catastrophes. Going to St. Petersburg, Russia was a major selling point, but turned out to be a disappointment not worth two days. I would prefer an extra one in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, or even Tallinn!!Ports of call
St. Petersburg, Russian Federation
Pros: Room, smooth ride
Cons: FREESTYLE!!!!
Recommends Norwegian Jewel? No.
