Take a photo of your cruise card and your passport on day one. This way if you are out and about without them you may still have your phone or camera with you to show who you are and your information. Happy sailing (:

My only complaint would be that they took out all the bar stools for social distancing but put everyone on shuttle buses shoulder to shoulder. Not sure how that makes sense.

This was the third vaccination cruise from Athens so protocol was different than pre-virus cruises. Fly in a day or two early because of flight disruptions, many of us arrived late and barely made the ship. The end of cruise covid test was given on Friday and Saturday so because we stayed two days past the cruise we had to test again before flying home. We only got one daily printout on the first day and didn't ask enough questions after that so missed info on tendering and disembarkation.

Seafood night at buffet was calamari( squid), fish and mussels the size of a pea! Lots of fillers in hamburgers, etc… avoid all together and eat in main dining rooms

Get onboard as soon as possible and enjoy walking around the ship before you set sail the first day.

If you have specialty dining options, visit the staff when you board to set up your reservations for the week, before the restaurants get booked.

Smaller ships are a breeze. But, book excursions, and entertainment ahead if cruising on anything larger than a jewel class 👍🏾

Think twice about non-USA port sailings, at this time. Unlike US sailings, all European cruises require that masks be worn everywhere but your staterooms (and while eating)

Insist on notifications as to what is happening. Frustrating not knowing why ports cancelled and outside lights turned off.
