Review summary

A first and wonderful trip. Enjoyed every aspect of the cruise and returned relaxed and happy. Felt a little overwhelmed at the beginning when leaving the ship at our initial port, but staff and fellow travelers helped along on my first ever cruise. There was plenty of information provided on the TV, when I knew where to look.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
A little disorganized… felt bad for the older generation having to STAND in line for a very long time. First for dropping off luggage, then to embark the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I very much enjoyed the choices and food quality. Was mainly eating buffet style. Service and cleanliness was excellent (except for one over-enthusiastic greeter, which I learned to avoid)

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Plenty of options to explore… the solo travelers meetup lacked the presence of a guide. Supposedly he showed up very briefly, but then disappeared. Maybe a platform on the app, would be helpful for people to connect.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Although I did not attend a lot of shows, the few shows I did attended were excellent.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone (one exception) was very friendly and professional.

Absolutely

Cabin / Stateroom

Of course with the upgrade I very much enjoyed my cabin and really made use of my balcony. Very clean and comfortable.

Compared to embark the ship, leaving was quite smooth and quick.
