Review summary

Charging extra for Starbucks and water when I paid for the drink package really pissed me off. Why? No other cruise I have been on has done that. Other than that, no real complaints. Ship size was perfect for us, 2400. Service was very good to excellent. Very friendly staff. Food quality was above average away from the buffet. Buffet was average at best. Pool area was packed, but it was a break week, so a lot of college kids. The snorkeling off Roatan is some of the best I have ever seen.

Bathrooms were too small. Cabin size was ample, and the balcony size was just fine. Cleaned every day and she did a good job. Bed comfortableness was so-so.

Ship tip

They charge extra for Starbucks and water, even with the drink package. Premium drink package it is included.

Glad you enjoyed the Jade. The policy re Starbucks and water is a NCL fleetwide policy and we'll publicized. Still, Royal includes water in their packages.

Thanks for sharing. We certainly share your thoughts on coffee and water not included in the drinks passage. The thing that first annoyed us was when booking the cruise, with the booze package the price increased at checkout, due to adding 20% gratuity for the drink package. This after paying the premium for the package....bit misleading
