We enjoyed most things about the cruise. We enjoyed the ship. The food was good to excellent. Unfortunately, two ports were so far away we decided against traveling into the city. Missed seeing BanI am not sure the visit to Cambodia was worth the price of the VISA. May visit Cambodia again visit other areas. Recently saw an article in the New York Times that identified Kampot Cambodian as one of 53 places a tourist should visit. Kampot is only an hour away from Sihanoukville. Had we known that we would have arranged to visit there. Missed seeing Bangkok and Kula Lampur. Enjoyed staying overnight in two ports. I wish we had stayed overnigh in Phuket. There was a lot there to enjoy. Go, enjoy. Focus on the positives and let go of the minor annoyances.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We really enjoyed Moderno. Had fun at Tepenaki. Was underwhelmed by Rustica.
The main dining room had varied and appetizing menus as did the buffet.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
We enjoyed the fitness center. Took in one art auction on a sea day. Not pool people so did not hang out there.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Saw one show with a woman violinist. She was very good. Otherwise, did not attend stage performances.
Children's Programs
No kids.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Overall, very good. Loved the bartenders we encountered. The hostess at the main dining room was great. Remembered our names. Unexpected but nice. The stateroom attendant did an excellent job. Some service staff on the floor at the buffet and in the main dining room seemed a little less friendly and helpful than would have been liked.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Was a little disappointed with the size of the cabin. Sailed last year on the Pearl and the cabin was quite a bit larger for similar accommodation. Otherwise, the Jade was just fine.
Cabin / Stateroom

Less storage space. Overall, smaller than we would have liked.
Ship tip
Enjoy. Make reservations early for the specialty resturants.
Did not go into Bangkok. It was a long distance from the port. Some sais two hours from port. I was disappointed that we docked so far from Bangkok. Would have enjoyed visiting the city.
This was the biggest disappointment of all. The city has dirt roads and an abundance of unfinished sky scrappers. I did enjoy visiting the temples. Locals complained about the cost of living, they say, driven up by Chinese investors.
