Review summary

The Jade is a great ship. Really beautiful decorated and well maintained. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. I love the variety of activities that they offer. I did go to the ones that catch my interest but if you want to participate in the art auctions and get them for a fear price, fun competitions, fine wine taste and enjoy memorable shows you must go to the Stardust Theater and book your next trip on the Jade. It is a very clean ship and staff is always willing to help. The only thing I do not recommend is the Spa. Dr Sarah is not professional at all neither is knowledgeable about the esthetic procedures she offers. I did overpaid for the injection of my marionnete lines and she also used what it was left on my fronthead and it was a mess. I got my face swelling up for three days. She seems upset for my reaction but was trying to sell me another injections. Then and demand the correction of what she did wrong and finally I got a second injection without charge on marionnete lines after she tried to push me to buy another procedure for Restylane and extra Dysport for my fronthead. The Restylane she injected on my fronthead migrate to the border of my right eye and I did have a lot of pain for three days. She indicated to take advil every 8 hours and gave the instructions for after care after the second injection. Never on the begining and after reviewing my bills and payment, I noticed that she auto gratify herself with extra $100. The cost of the initial procedure was already enough for $600. But my bad. I should do more research before putting myself in this situation. I would never take a treatment on a Spa in a cruisse. Other than that ... it was a good experience.

We used the buffet all the time since the other restaurants have limited space and the food was ok. Very repetitive menú. Fruits were not fresh some times and breakfast was always same thing over and over. Oven Roasted meats were not well cook and neither flavored. We also bought the advertised " ALL INCLUSIVE" drink package and it was NOT ALL INCLUSIVE. I find this as a false advertisement. We did not have water or any softdrinks included on our beberage package and neither coffee or tea. Only coffee or tea available at the buffet during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not after that at all. Neither could have access to softdrinks or natural juices.

Eventhough I did not travel with any kids. I found out that the people were very happy with the kids service and activities advertised.

Staff did a great job in general. They do work hard to keep everything clean and are very polite and friendly. Good people from all around the world. Corteous and helpful. I would like to recognize the work of Alfredo Suazo one of the cookers that was working on the buffet and was very knowlegeable about the foods and corteous while we asked for the condiments since we have alergies. Also Lena Williams one of the waiters. She is very friendly and corteous as well.

Key west was nice. We did not take any excursion but went in our own to shop around and know the city and we enjoy it.

Harvest Caye was not what I expected. The sea was beautiful and the pool nice. But the food overpriced and very poor quality. Did not take any excursion since we thought we will be able to go into the city and get to know the country ourselves. Not interested on water activities at this time of the year.

Would NEVER get an injection on a cruise ship......especially if the "DR" was that bad! Omg!! Fruit gets old by the end of the cruise......its 6 + days old, of course its looking old!! What else could they have added @ b`fast.....they pretty much have everything you'd want!! We leave next week for a 2nd time on the jade....5th on NCL!@ AWESOME cruise line!
