It was okay. Not our best cruise (which was on Celebrity). Many reasons noted above. We would probably not do Norwegian again unless it was only option on days/times/pricing that we had.
Embarkation

Had to wait forever in the holding area. Ship news said they were serving lunch at 11:15 but they didn't let anyone board the ship until after 12:30. Not sure what the delay was but that's never happened on other cruise lines. If you have an embarkation time and ours was 10:30...we were always on the ship within an hour from that.

Food and Dining

We had a drink package so the drinks were fine. Be aware there is a sale tax on all drinks served in American ports (Miami, Key West etc) We were never made aware of this and many in our party as well as others we heard talking did not ever pay this on other cruise lines. Did not use specialty restaurants so I can't comment. Buffets were ok. Main dining room food was ok, nothing spectacular again like when we were aboard other ships.
Onboard Activities

Weak. Only one event by the pool (sexy leg contest) Hate to keep comparing to other cruise lines but there are always pool events and music constantly. The C-Notes played to a CD most of the time and didn't even sing. Very odd and they weren't that good.
Entertainment

Manila Soul was good. The Jade Show band was very good. C Notes played to CDs at the pool, not much talking to the crowd to get them involved, just sort of there.

The service was good but slow in the dining rooms.

Very odd design - have to go up one floor to go back to next level to go back down to same floor...nothing was straight on the same floor from front to back. Windows were always cloudy looking. Common areas were clean.

Loved the room. Nice size and clean and comfortable bed.
Ship tip
Get all your information up front. We had called several times and it was always a problem when it came time for billing shore excursions etc.
Bad winds, could not tender to the island. Therefore day at sea...pool was super crowded, no seats. C Notes music and activities by pool almost non existent.
Did a catamaran snorkel excursion which was awesome. The dirty straw market at the port leaves much to be desired. Went back to the ship early and had lots of room around the pool since most were out on excursions.
