Review summary

Great food, clean ship and great and friendly customer service made up for the things i did not like on the ship. Would cruise with Norwegian again.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Getting on the ship was seamless, however our luggage was hung up for a few hours after we set sail. I had to hunt it down and found it was on hold because there was no cabin # on the Norwegian bag tags. This has never happened to me before with 11+ cruises. Leaving the ship was a long line; however, it moved along. Ft. Lauderdale Port is much quicker, with practically no wait when leaving the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Well done. Did was fresh and great tasting everywhere on the ship!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Look was and Jacuzzi pretty crowded during the day, probably because this was a smaller ship. Game shows and karaoke. were allot of fun. Enjoyed the skin seminar and free consultation. Thought the spa was a bit overpriced for the amount of time for sessions.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Went to two shows: the Four Elements wad excellent; however the comedian/musician act was painful. Music in the club was not as diverse as I would have liked and was mostly for the younger crowd. Would have enjoyed more R&B, reggae, old school. Many of the 45+ crowd were onlookers instead of dancing. DJ was great at taking requests and tried to make up it

Service and Staff

Everyone was warm and friendly. The customet service was impeccable.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I didn't particularly like the layout. Walking the hallways from the staterooms on the eighth floor to Sheehans was cumbersome. The was only one pool area and remained pretty crowded. The great outdoors at the back of the ship was very nice. The shopping area was pretty average. Overall the ship was very clean; however, the only issue was the bathroom near the Spinnaker Club was not well attended at night.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Our room.attendant keep out room in excellent condition and be was very warm and nice. For a balcony, the quarters were pretty tight. Narrow walking space at foot of bed, however, bathroom was pretty nice with separate toilet, sink.and shower area. Beds slept well.

Ship tip

Make sure your cabin number is on your Norwegian tags! Definitely try the specialty restaurants. The ones we ate at eye superb!
