Review summary

This was my longest cruise to date, 11 days, and has me thinking that longer is better.. I was more relaxed than ever. There was lots to do, and fun was had. The food was great, and the thermal suite was amazing, and a great investment.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We lucked out on our embarkation, the cruise before ours was cancelled partway through due to mechanical difficulties, so we got on early, our cabins were available immediately,

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dining rooms were excellent and the specialty restaurants were outstanding. The Jade has several options that are included with your fare: The 2 Main dining rooms share the same menu each night, with Grand Pacific having a classic decor and Alizar being more contemporary, the food options are excellent. Jasmine is an included Asian restaurant, and O'Sheehan's an included pub venue open 24 hours. And of course, the Garden Cafe buffet.

Just did a 15 day on the Sun. I tend to agree with you longer than 7 days is great. It took us about a week to discover everything on the medium size ship. The following week we were able to really settle in and experience everything the way it was meant to be experienced.
