Norwegian cruise line is just okay. I probably will not go out of my way to cruise with them again. The other cruises I have been on were far more exciting. I did enjoy the Panama Canal which is why we chose this trip as it fit into our time frame.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Long lines, mass confusion, no direction by staff, rather rude, telling us we were moving too slowly, when there was no place to go. Finding luggage was not easy, or directed easier by colors, hunt for the color no signs directing to,area you needed. Again, told to move along, rude people in terminal building.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Food became boring, menus too gourmet for us. Would have enjoyed some normal meals without fancy names and spices. Some were totally bizarre. What you thought you were ordering and what came on the plate sure did not look alike. The buffet was always crowded, the main dining rooms were very nice, did enjoy being served, rather than fight for food in the buffet.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Would have liked to play bingo, but was not paying for the cards, never saw this before on a cruise. So did not participate in any of the activities on board.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Only one showroom on this boat. Some of the acts were great and some we walked out on as did lots of others. The finale was the best show. We did enjoy the music venues in the bar areas. Unfortunately the daily news was not always accurate were the acts were playing or the times were not listed. Did enjoy the demonstrations in the Atruim area.

Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Housekeeping was excellent, our room was cleaned spotless everyday. Had excellent waiters in the Grand Pacific. Had fun with washy washy in the buffet.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Small ship, seemed overcrowded, it was clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

The room was good size, bed was a little uncomfortable, had problems sleeping. Everything was in working order and very clean.
Had a great excursion here. Got to see the Panama City, took the train over two oceans. It was a wonderful day, great tour guide. The city of Colon was pretty dirty and scary, we did not spend time there except to drive through it.al
Seems like the cruise line has there on little tourist trap on the pier, hated this place and the excursion of the Best of Rostand Island was the biggest rip off. Do not recommend this stop or port.
Another cruise line built tourist trap. Once you disembark on this island you have a 40 minute ferry ride to take to the mainland. The excursion to the Mayan ruins there not worth going. The bus was not air conditioned, about died in that bus, as the trip is 1 1/2 hours each way. Also this bus makes you sign a waiver before they will take you. Must be because of the accident they had a few months ago.
Our trip here was to the Mayan ruins, well worth the money and the long trip. Largest ruins and just amazing. Two hour bus trip each way, but the buses were great, the guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. The port was another cruise line built port, did not get to spend too much time there due to the long day gone. Just made it back to the ship before the time.
Cruise line failed to explain fully how this all happens. Long lines supposed to be by color, that was a joke after luggage is gone you could be any color, no one to ask you or prove you are going out at the right time. Transfers to the airport was not defined at all. Should have been provided a ticket to get on bus to airport. Handicapped individuals should exit different doors or be made to wait until the end. Why should I get pushed out of the way for wheelchairs to get ahead. Rude people in the terminal.
