We loved the size of the ship along with the excellent food and drinks. Of course the weather helped, we had a beautiful week in the Caribbean for our March Norweigian Jade cruise. Definitely a cruise we will take again.

Loved the juggler/comedy and the aerialists were excellent (Diu & Niko, I think were the couples names).

The Alizar dining room was ok, the food was excellent when you got it but the service was very slow. Always took 2 + hours to get through the dinner meal. Waited for entree way too long from the time you got your appetizer till they brought out the entree. Were not very attentive to drinks, bread, butter etc.
I didn’t care for the fact that they closed the Garden Cafe at 10:00-11:30 am every day and moved everybody to the end of the ship. Way to many people waiting in line for food and then you had to wait because they couldn’t keep up with the hot food. The back of ship buffet was not large enough for the amount of people wanting food from 11-11:30 a.m. Problem with the coffee machine in the morning in the buffet, no coffee. Again too many people for the amount available at each station.
We didn’t like the way the tables were set-up in the Garden Cafe. Most tables were for 6-8 people and hardly any tables for 2 or 4 and it was awkward to have to sit with people you didn’t know or you couldn’t sit down. My food was cold before I could find a place to sit. The tables were being cleaned off fast enough. The tables were way to far away from the food.

Ship tip
Men bring dress pants so that you can eat in the Grand Pacific because the service in there was excellent compared to the Alizar.
Costa Maya All-Inclusive Barefoot Beach Club Day Pass. The drinks, food and service were excellent. Didn’t care for the seaweed in the ocean but the water was otherwise perfect along with the beach.
Loved the private beach, plenty of chairs and umbrellas and the facilities were clean and close. Beach sand was rather hard to walk on but flip flops worked very well in order to get to the water and play volleyball with them on.
Went to Routan West Bay Bananarama Resort Beach Day Pass Excursion. Very safe and if you walked up the beach the snorkeling was excellent and the sand was soft.
We sent our luggage out the night before and stayed on the ship until the last group. It was great, very organized and pleasant. I had lost a pair of sunglasses and when I checked the lost and found at the ship desk they were there so a BIG thank you to the person who returned them. Great people, food and fun on this ship.
