Review summary

Again booking agent should have explained that the cabin would require someone climbing a ladder to an upper bunk. Smoking in the casino is a turn off.

This was a very unpleasant experience at first, I am the youngest and of the 4 of us the most able to climb into a bunk bed. The agent knew that two of the four were handicapped as I asked for two wheel chairs. One of my party who is more assertive than I raised cane and we were ultimately given an inside cabin for two of us. Things were better after that but it was quite hairy for me to go up and down the ladder in the middle of the night.

Ship tip

I love to play black jack. Could not stay at a table for more than 10 or 15 minutes because of the cigarette smoke. Would suggest that the casino be redesigned to allow for a no smoking table.

So far there has been only one nonsmoking ship the Carnival Paradise. The Paradise came out nonsmoking but after a short time turned into a smoking ship. It turns out that smokers drink and gamble more then nonsmokers.
