Review summary

This was our first cruise so we had no preconceived ideas about what to expect.  We were pleased with cruise which we took to unwind and relax more than anything else.  Our cabin was comfortable--we wouldn't have enjoyed anything without a balcony we decided.  We enjoyed the specialty restaurants, the personal service and friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the ship and the choices of venues for dining and drinks.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Avoided the buffets as much as possible but enjoyed the specialty restaurants.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We did not do a lot of the activities--did some seminars which were all about selling you services but were informative.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We enjoyed the live music in venues around the ship--we did not attend shows.

Children's Programs

Had no children with us

Cabin / Stateroom

Clean, comfortable, with a view. Plenty of storage and steward was very attentive.

Ship tip

We did not discover the bar on the 13th deck until several days after the cruise began--it was our favorite because it was quiet, friendly and the bartender Lorilei remembered us and what we liked to drink from the first time we visited.
