Review summary

We recently cruised on the Norwegian Jade on an 11 night Mediterranean tour. It was a round trip departing from Rome and included Turkey, Cyprus, Israel and Greece. Due to safety concerns the two night Egyptian ports were cancelled and replaced with Crete and Naples. Overall we had an excellent time aboard the Jade. The staff were always friendly and helpful, the ship was clean and there was a good variety of food. There could have been more variety in daily entertainment but it definitely wasn't something that would have put a damper on our vacation. We mainly ate in the dining rooms...the buffet was always overcrowded with overbearing tourists fighting for a place to sit. The dining room was a lot quieter especially at breakfast. The ship's staff were diligent with spraying disinfectant on diners hands as they entered the buffet area and there were disinfectant stations all over the ship. Wise decision considering all the norovirus outbreaks in recent year.

Ship tip

Awesome happy hour at Tankards and the martini bar. House drinks were two for one which is amazing considering the cost of a single drink!
