Room Type: Balcony

We loved this cruise despite some of the cons mentioned in this review. the entertainment was worth seeing. The food was not excellent, but it was still delicious. Desserts were their weakest on this cruise, but we still managed to gain lots of weight. The choices included two main dining rooms and a 24 hour cafe. Buffets were adequate, but not enough seating for all the guests. We just went to the buffet on our early departures for excursions. NCL does seem to charge for everything, but the greek isles were beautiful, the ship was smooth and sleek, and the staff worked hard to make it a wonderful experience.

Pros: freestyle dining, ship entertainment, cruise director, Gary Glading. Tours were expensive but good

Cons: smokers on balconies. Couldn't sit on our balcony from all the smoke from both neighbors. ship should designate one side as the smoking side.

Recommends Norwegian Jade? Yes!

Service and Staff
I thought the staff worked very hard to keep us safe and healthy.
Entertainment
The cruise director was a bit stuffy, but worth it because he new what he was doing. He seemed to really like people and he took his job seriously. The shows were outstanding and he even gave a brief talk from the deck, on the history of Venice as we sailed out on the first night.
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
we loved the freestyle dining options and took advantage of the specialty restaurants on the 2 formal nights so we didn't have to dress up.
Cabin / Stateroom
We must be getting bigger or the rooms smaller. You are rarely in your room though.
Katakolon (Olympia), Greece

Don't Miss: tour in Venice was convenient and worthwhile if you have never been to Venice
Santorini, Greece
Mykonos, Greece
Corfu, Greece
