Review summary
We each have cruised several times both together and separately. This clearly rated in the top quartile. The Norwegian Jade (Venice- Greek Isles-Ephesus and return) is very much a family ship. There were many teens aboard (all well behaved and pleasant) as well as a good number of smaller children. Did not present us with a problem. The pool area daily was a virtual zoo. Almost the entire time pools were open, there was loud music, either live or recorded. We did not find that relaxing, so we did not use the pool complex. The best decision we made was taking a stateroom with a balcony. That was so pleasant, and the balconies were sufficiently large that we both could sit comfortably there and enjoy the relax. Service everywhere aboard was impeccableShip experiences

Pros: The freedom. No pressure to do anything. Freedom on where and when to eat (available 24 hours). No pressure to take any organized ashore excursions. They are available, take it or leave it. We left all but one, a correct set of decisions for us.
Cons: The air conditioning aboard in the public areas, often far too cold for my wife, whose health is a bit fragile. And neither she nor I could enjoy the pool area, nearly always featuring live (loud) music, or if not live, recorded and loud. Not relaxing there at all.
