The port was a Zoo. No coordination. Had to search for bags.

I know what you mean about debarkation. We were on the same ship, same itinerary and baggage claim was so unorganized that it became dangerous and the police were called to restore order.

My husband and I took the getaway in March and it was nice. We were supposed to go to Virginia Beach and Bermuda that was scratched. Port Canaveral we were supposed to stay overnight that was scratched and of course we don't know why. The private island that was scratched because it was too windy for the tenders to go to the island and the last part was Nassau and we had an Excursion called discover Nassau Land by sea and that was fun. We have done that before in the past.

Embarkation and disembarkation are mostly directed by the local port and customs. In most cases, these goups tell the cruise line what to do. I'm glad you enjoyed your cruise. The Getaway is one of my favorite ships.

You always have to search for your bags when you debark, but if you hang out on the lido deck until last call. It’s easy to find bags because most are gone
