Third cruise & second on NCL. Loved the experience and they have earned my loyalty, all other things being equal.

Food and Dining

Food at every venue was at a minimum top knotch but the Getaway excelled in specialty restaurants Carney’s, Ocean Blue and Teppenyaki. Buffets were for quick eating. Had made to order omlets every morning.
Onboard Activities

Pool lounge chairs in the sun were in short supply on sea days but always available on deck higher above the pool deck. Loungers were always available in shade areas. Got all the sun bathing I wanted.
Entertainment

Entertainment was first class broadway level. Did not participate in the DJ stage experiences. Too much other stuff going on.
Children's Programs
No kids. Very few kids on ship but it appeared like the kids were having a blast in the ship provided programs.
Service and Staff

Wait staff was at a minimum very was 4 star and in most cases 5 star. Room steward was 5 star plus. Went out of his way to be friendly and helpful. Client services was always helpful. So impressed signed up for CruiseNext deposit and planning next cruise on NCL. Also enjoyed Ship’s Captain Q & A and CruiseNext presentation on NCL fleet and plans for new ships.
Ship Quality

Layout was well done thoughout and stateroom was about about 20 steps from elevator. Ship was always clean and we’ll maintained and huge. Referred daily to signage at elevators as was on the go every day.
Cabin / Stateroom

Was comfortable, clean and size was appropriate for two people. More than enough storage for luggage. Layout was fine except electrical outlets were at desk. Brought an extension cord to reach bed for CPAP.
Ship tip
Read the FAQ and everything on the NCL website to eliminate surprises. I read every thing they had to say and felt confident as to what the experience would be.
Too many locals attempting to sell you mostly tours not sponsored by NCL. Felt like a third world country. Just shopped, ate and had a drink then, back to the ship for pool sun time ahead of return guests.
Was in first group as going on Miami city tour so seamless thru terminal and customs. Hired lindividual to haul bags to your company shuttle which was a good investment.
