Overall it was good, I liked a lot of things about the cruise including that the seas were calm. If I book another cruise I will not book to the Caribbean as it is very similar to my city in Florida. I do not know if I would book with NCL again, I think I will may try Royal Caribbean instead. I have a friend who advised me to book Royal C as they book it exclusively. I have a relative who raved about NCL cruise to Cuba so we booked with NCL because we thought we had what we wanted at the best price.

Pick your events, shore excursions and restaurant reservation as soon as you book, EARLY
Loved Roatan, my wife went on the submarine and loved it, I booked a jungle walk on elavated bridges thru the jungle, it was awesome. I read that I could turn around and go back the same way if I so desired but the guide told me I was not allowed, you may want to change that in your description, I was disappointed about that but the ride around the island was awesome.
The main thing I wanted to do was cancelled, which I purchased from NCL this was my first time out of the country and my first cruise. I booked a tour of the island and a village and they delivered the tickets than canceled, extremely disappointed for a variety of reasons. This is NCL's private island and they seemed to have no control over events or did not care to take care of two customers.
As you get off typical large tourist trap, great if you like trinkets, Went to Chuchobon
ruins they were awesome guides were excellent, I took a lot of pictures so I was behind a lot and the follow up man, Carlos stayed with the whole way as he did not want me to get left behind I gave him a nice tip, he was great.
Largest tourist trap I have ever seen, hope I never see another one this big! We both went to the chocolate factory "show" even though it said we were going to a factory, never saw a factory. Show was good and everyone was excellent, felt the chocolate was overpriced at $9 a bar as similar bars on Roatan were $5 and we were supposed to be at the factory. I enjoyed the ride around the island more than the show. I did not care for the small vendors at the beach stop they were a little to aggressive for my taste.
And this has never happened on any other cruise, right? 😂 Norovirus can happen on any cruise. I would maybe book NCL again, but only if the itinerary was interesting. Other than that, no thanks.
