Overall this cruise was relaxing, which was our goal. The rooms were comfortable, temps were perfect, and never ran out of hot water! We spent a lot of time in the casino, it was tons of fun!!!

Dining rooms were exceptional!! Staff demonstrated excellent customer service. At the beginning of the week the hostess staff seemed a bit uptight about people not having reservations there were long lines and they seem frustrated. We made reservations and were seated right away. The bartenders were not very friendly at all. We visited the Mojito Bar almost everyday and the lady never even cracked a smile. They were friendly just not cruise friendly. The other bartenders were not friendly at all did not recognize me standing to order for long periods of time. We played a lot in the casino and had to ask staff to send beverage attendant over many times just to wait twice as long. It was faster to walk over to the bar and grab a drink then to wait for the servers to take your order. They were in absolutely no hurry to bring anyone drinks. Very disappointed as we were spending lots of money on the slot machines!!We dined at the specialty restaurants three nights during our stay and the service in those restaurants were pretty impressive.great customer service!!! Excellent customer service by Mauricio at the Shanghai restaurant!!!! One of our favorite staff members.

The pool was the one activity we wanted to use the most however there wasn’t much of a pool that out group could use. The adult area did not allow kids and the slide area which had a small section for tiny kids didn’t allow the adults..... very disappointed it would have been nice if there was a pool for everyone to enjoy.

Our room steward Tom, was quiet but always had our beautiful clean room to return too! Our bathroom had a really bad odor for the first two nights and he was able to clean it right away and we didn’t have a problem with that the rest of the trip. Tom was very attentive when we needed anything like towels or ice. Thank you Tom

Costa Maya is overpriced and a rip off, you can get the best deals from Cozumel and it’s much authentic. Norwegian Getaway is a beautiful ship!!! It is relaxing and a great place to get away from work and relive stress! Enjoy your getaway.
