Review summary

This was my 3rd cruise with Norwegian and first since Kevin Sheehan left as CEO and boy could we tell the difference. The specialty restaurants have gone way down hill (Cagney's reservation for 7:30 and we don't eat until 10pm, lobster is like scrap meat, all food is bland and over cooked) staff is not personable and friendly anymore.

Last month I finally convinced my parents to give Norwegian a try and they will not be back after their experience on the escape. Apparently there was a 600 person party on their cruise and everything was closed for those people (spice h2o, adult only area, Margaritaville). We have a cruise booked next year with NCL if things aren't better by then we will be forced to move on.

don't pay attention to reviews go for you self and take you on experience,,,we have 8 cruises different companies and never have any complaint

Hope we don't have these issues. We have 8 NCL cruises booked for this year and next and have always only had positive experiences in the past. The 600 party taking over key sections of the ship in my view is totally out of order, I would have been hoping mad too... We have seen some dropping off at the speciality restaurants, poorer cuts of meat, no lobster in Le Bistro etc but nothing to get too upset over. I guess we'll find out next month when our 2017 cruising begins...

I'm sorry to hear that. I cruised on the Escape last November & loved it! But I've only cruised on carnival, so I thought NCL was much better. We are going on the Getaway in April, hopefully I will enjoy it as much as the Escape.
