Review summary

The best part of this ship, it's hard to say there's so many great things. The shows in the theater where excellent and I loved the food there's so much to choose from. And there's so many things to do on the ship for kids or adults no one is ever going to get bored. But even though there's so much to do and so many people aboard it never seemed to crowed and was always very clean everywhere you go from the buffet to pools to bathrooms it always seemed like someone had just been in cleaning right before you great job! I would recommend this ship and these ports to anyone younger or older. Great Job Norweigan!!

Thanks for a GREAT vacation!!

Not a bad size and it's nice to be able to sit outside whenever you want. The kids loved the bunk bed that dropped from the ceiling.

Ship tip

Take a little time to just roam around the ship and check out all it has to offer there's so many things to see and do on the ship.

There are two "Dress up... or not" nights. Most people don't dress up. And for the big production shows like Burn the Floor, Million Dollar Quartet, and Illusionarium you need to reserve. You can do this online 90 days before you sail. When you get on the ship you can book the smaller comedy shows and Howl at the Moon which take place in headliners. The welcome show and finale show you don't need to book.

Is there a formal night/nights? And do you need to make reservations for the shows?

I totally agree with everything you said! I cruised the Getaway in January and will be back on her in January 2018. I was impressed with how easily it was to get through buffet and find a table there. After previously cruising RCCL and Carnival, with their crazy lines and crowds in the buffet, this was a welcome relief. I think because there are so many other choices to dine at, that helps reduce the crowds in there. Our favorite place was O'Sheehans. Loved it! A large menu available 24 hours! You can't find that on Royal or Carnival. AND the buffet offers late night snacks from 9:30-11:00! You just can't beat the choices that this ship offers!
