Review summary

The cruise was great! We highly recommend the upgrade food package, it was first class dining and not so crowded! We also recommend the beverage package which made us feel very pampered. It was so nice to have a drink around the pool, at dinner, and during the evening activities without worrying about the cost. This is our third cruise on Norwegian and we love the newer boats and the entertainment. Our only disappointments were that the entertainment was the same as our cruise last year, so we saw the same shows again. Also, the cost of the cruise and extra beverage gratuity increased. Loved the private island on the Bahamas.

Great location and room. Small balcony.

Ship tip

Loved the private island. Since we did not book excursions, we were tired of the same shopping at each location.

Hello, can you please share the process for getting drinks? With the package we are able to enjoy drinks up to 15$ . Do you have to go to the bar? Will you be waited on by the pool? How much would a scotch be? Can I get doubles? And how about wine in the room? Sorry for so many questions but I would like to know before we board! Cheers!!

Also juices are included in your basic cruise fare, even without the package. The only things not covered by the drink package are specialty coffees and bottled water. :)

@carmenconley my husband and I will be on next weeks cruise with you (getaway 4/3)! This will be my 6th cruise with Norwegian, so I will say that it has been my experience that Norwegian never discounts anything once you come aboard, it is actually often more expensive that way. For example, if you pre pay your daily service charges, it's about a dollar cheaper per day.
