Review summary

Arrived to a dirty, filthy cabin which had not even been vacuumed. Bathroom not even stocked properly with no wash cloth in sight!!! Shower overflowing which made a lovely lake on our bathroom floor. Went to Guest Services where they all appeared and acted mad and disgusted and treated my friend and myself accordingly. Would not reverse service charges, even though, all during the 7 day cruise had to beg for wash cloths, a bath mat, more towels, clean sheets, etc. Lied to by two supervisors/managers at Guest Services stating that they would call us regarding issues - they never did. Called a liar in a not so roundabout way by the Executive Housekeeper and the room steward. Never saw our room steward the last day of the cruise - room never cleaned all day until we begged again to receive service (have our room cleaned). I would not wish this ship or NCL on my worst enemy!! All NCL can think of now is how much and how fast they can raise prices and how they can take more money out of your pocket. NCL sorely needs to focus more of their resources on customer service and less on dreaming up ways to make the customer's wallet thinner!

Dirty, filthy cabin not even stocked appropriately. Room Steward even threw dirty washcloths in back and around our toilet and left them there !

call the Miami office and ask to speak with executive. had an issue on ncl escape maiden voyage, i was told wrong info on future cruise credit, they ended up giving me $250 obc for my getaway cruise next month. complain to the top, ship doesn't have authority to do anything

We had a great trip, it was our first cruise the only complaint I had was the lady in the hot tub that did NOTHING but complain about her experience on NCL and she was going back to carnival. you get what you give try being nicer and you might get somewhere. I'll definitely be traveling with NCL again.

Sounds like bs to me. Last week our beach towels were taken from the room and not replaced, walked down to guest services and the guy was at our room with them by the time I walked back. 4000 people on this ship every week and you're the only one?

I always find ncl has cheaper fares than other cruise lines and have never had a bad experience, it's all in who you are and what you are expecting.

what cruise were you on? We had an amazing time for our first cruise. Our room surpassed our expectations and our steward was great. Met great people, had great service and a wonderful time all around. I plan on cruising with NCL again in the next year or two and would recommend them in a heartbeat. Sorry your trip wasn't nice hope you give cruising another try maybe with another company such as carnival

make sure you write a letter to the company, next time take pictures of your room for proof

There is a way to request the auto tipping be reviewed after your cruise is over. I would contact NCL and your TA.
