Review summary

I was promised a $50.00 on board credit and never received it. Sharon Bennett was my agent and I had to call her on the cruise to find out what happened to it. She said I would get a credit on my American Express when I got home and as of today 12/28/15 I still have not gotten it. I have called her many times since I am home and left messages and as of now she has not called me back. I have dealt with many cruise lines and agents and never had a problem. The same thing happened with my daughter and Granddaughter.. None of us has gotten our $50.00 credited to our charge cards.I expect to hear from you.

Jeff is right. In all my cruises, booked through my agent, I have received ALL OBC's that were promised to me by the agent AND the cruise line promo that was going on at the time. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure it is on your account by reading your online account profile at the cruise lines website (online check-in) and the invoice you receive from your agent. It takes 24 to 48 hours for the credits to appear on your cruise line account so if it isn't there after that time frame, you need to contact your agent to see why. Waiting till you board to try to clear it up just puts you where you are now.

LindaLea you sound just as basic as the original poster. Travel agents cannot promise something/lie just to get you to book. If it is on your invoice (a legally binding contact) then the services have to be provided. You are giving people false information and should just keep your mouth shut. Travel agencies usually have better prices then what the cruise line has sometimes. The bigger agencies buy bulk space from cruise lines at a cheaper rate and get extras included such as onboard credits, discounts and much more. Your ignorance is not an excuse. Travel agents are here to help passengers any way they can and to make a living. Keep your mouth shut if you don't know what you are talking about.

Um your review belongs with the agent

Also, don't believe everything your Travel Agent tells you regarding credits. Unless NCL promised it, you probably won't see it. TA's can (and will) tell you just about anything to sell you a cruise. Book directly through the cruise line, so you have documentation of exactly what is included in your cruise.

This is NOT NCL. You will not hear back from them, based solely on your post here. It is also very dangerous to post your full name, address, email, and phone # here. You are opening yourself up for unwanted and very unpleasant contact from the creeps who troll these sites just looking for this type of info. For your own safety, delete your post, and contact NCL directly.

You should also post your credit card number and mother's maiden name here just to make sure.

This is simply a place for other cruisers to talk to one another. The cruise line has nothing to do with this site. I suggest you take your personal info off, and contact your cruise line.
