Review summary

We prefer the smaller ships like the Gem rather than the 4,000+ larger ships that require reservations to go to shows, limited seating around the pool area and other venues, too small to handle the number of passengers.

Blazing Boots was good, but seen it a few times now on previous cruises. Comedian was boring and not funny.

Cabin was clean, sofa bed couch hard as a rock to sit on, uncomfortable. Balcony chairs narrow with arm rests, uncomfortable and didn’t use.

Quaint little port. Most items pricey other than T-Shirts and small souvenirs. This port used tender boats, extremely poor process to get in the tender boat, long lines that marched around the ship, up some stairs (45 minutes ) only to receive a number and sit in the atrium for 2 hours for your number to be called. Lobster dinners 3 times higher than at home.

I've been cruising from Boston to Bermuda yearly on ncl for the last decade +,it used to be the best kept secret in cruising. I just go for the ride, but over the years it seems like we pay more for a whole lot less
