Review summary

Under our expectations. The ship a bit run down, for example exercise machines in the gym very old and many not working. The ship is small for the number of passengers which means everywhere is crowded

Bar Harbor is a fabulous port. Glad you enjoyed it. We have been on the Gem several times and always enjoyed it. One difference is we normally select an itinerary with one or two sea days. More sea days could make the difference.
