Review summary

Best way to visit Canadian Maritime provinces! Beautiful fall foliage. Friendly citizens and down to earth attitudes.

Embarkation

1 out of 5
Horrible because how the Port allows traffic getting into terminal. Worst ever. Allow 2 hours to get from hotel to being on board.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The buffet food tends to have low quality meats. Tough and chewy. Lacks presentation. Free drink package is never free, there’s a heavy surcharge added.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Too cold to use pool outside. Opt for “Spa Package” as it gets you use of indoor pool and spa.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Not that entertaining. No huge productions. Not so funny comedians, magic shows really? Crew singing and playing instruments have its place.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Not really that many children on our cruise.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Crew was pleasant and obliging. However, the cruise-line charges for everything no matter how small. Automatically adds 20% to every charge.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Well designed ship and amazingly pristine.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very comfortable. Nice sized balcony.

Ship tip

Cruise lines always adds surcharges to everything including “so-called free” items. For instance, the free drink package has a huge surcharge. 20% added to everything you purchase which BTW is already Hugh priced.

Ports of call

Quebec City, Quebec

Only Walled City in North America. Very historical place to visit. Reminds you of old Europe.

Played a role and in rescuing “Titanic” efforts to save lives. And that the English fleet harbored there during WWII.
