Review summary

We loved it! This was a very relaxing vacation where practically everything was taken care of for us. It was our first cruise and it exceeded our expectations.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
My daughter and I are vegan and while there was always a vegetarian option, it almost always included cheese or eggs. Once we spoke to one of the food managers, she made sure that whichever restaurant we were going to eat in had something for us. This was really great but I still think they should have a few more options on the buffet - like tofu and almond milk. My husband and son who are not vegan, however, loved all the food and were thrilled with all the options.

Onboard Activities

There was always something to do. We used the pools, hot tubs, played bingo and cards. One of our favorites was the Q & A with the caption and other members of the crew. So interesting!

Entertainment

Amazing! The Sea Shakers were awesome and so much fun. The comedian was great. Kinky Boots and the aerialists were wonderful!!

Children's Programs

My kids are older.

Service and Staff

Everyone was incredibly pleasant and helpful! The customer service here is right up there with Disney. We never had an interaction with anyone at any level that did not leave us smiling or did not go above and beyond solving any issue we had.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Cleanliness was the thing I was most concerned about coming onto the ship and I couldn’t have been more impressed with the cleanliness of everything. Public bathrooms were always clean and many times I saw that they were shut for 10 minutes to sanitize. There were antibacterial stations all over the place as well as a team of the sweetest, happiest people ready to spray your hands before entering the buffet. The pools were a little small and crowded and one day when the sea was rough one of the pools was closed. While in port on Bermuda they performed cleaning and scraping on the outside of the ship while using a strong smelling chemical which woke us up in the morning.

Cabin / Stateroom

There were four of us in the room which was a little tight but we never had a problem. We had the best room steward ever! He cleaned our room TWICE a day, decorated it for our daughter’s birthday and was such a kind and pleasant man, we hated saying good bye to him. He was always around if we needed anything. I’ve been in much bigger hotel rooms that were neither as neat nor as clean as our cabin. Also - highly recommend the balcony because we loved sitting out there and watching the ocean. We saw dolphins and a whale on our last day.

Ship tip

Get a room with a balcony.

Boston’s great - lots to do!

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

Such a quaint little area with shops and popsicle and fudge stands. We explored that area on our first day, went to Horseshoe Beach the second day, and went snorkeling on the pink catamaran on our last day. Horseshoe Beach is absolutely gorgeous and the crew on the pink catamaran were the best! They were very fun and knowledgeable.

Disembarkation

Of course this was the least fun part of the trip and though the line was very long to disembark, it moved fairly quickly.
