Review summary

We had an interior room on Carnival last year that was much bigger than our oceanview on Norwegian. On Carnival we had Guy Fieri burgers, a NY style deli and a very good taco station right by the pool. The first day at the pool on Norwegian I got a burger by the pool and spit it out it was so disgusting. I had pancakes in the main dining room that were so hard that I could tell they were microwaved. Dinners were better but we also ate in special restaurants three times.

Ship tip

Don't expect a big selection at the pool for good things to eat or good music unless you like constant latin music. Glad we got off all 3 times at ports.

Specialty Restaurants we're definitely the way to go. Hamburgers at OSheehans we're very good but had a hard time getting orders straight. Buffet left a lot to be desired with breakfast being the positive exception

I've enjoyed cruises on both lines. I don't really compare them because they each have pros and cons. If I found this many cons on one of them, I would simply sail on the only one I enjoyed.

Very relaxing

The show's were wonderful! Food was okay. Not as much guest attention as other ships. Had to pay to bring our own wine. Had a lot of fun at the ports! Overall the ship was okay.
