If you can afford the extra, take Carnival instead for the experience of being waited on while sun bathing and also for a different menu every evening in the dining hall.

I hate that the only bar on the lido desk was smoking. There were no waiters for drinks on the lido deck, bingo or any shows.

we like the gem, 4 sailings on her, but agree. the menu is not very interesting and hard to get a drink if you dont get it yourself. generally not that big of a deal but when they hit you with 18% gratuity to get your own drink its a bit annoying.
