It was very fun and relaxing cruise I had besides the tendering process and that bad experience at Cagney everything went very well, and the staff was very friendly.
Embarkation

We got to the pier in New York pier earlier then expected. We took the greyhound from Boston over night, and it got to New York earlier then expected therefore instead at arriving at the pier by 915 we got there by 8am. They were still letting people off the ship, but everything was well organized. They say us down on the opposite side that the people were coming off of the ship and waiting for rides.
They also sat us first come basis and when they opened up security, they single filed us the same way they sat us. Going through security was a breeze has long has you listen to the agents. Then on the other side they split us in to different lines to check us in. That went pretty fast they just checked our passports and took our pictures and gave us our room keys. Then they gave us our boarding number, and by noon they were calling the boarding numbers in order. It was all very well organized and everyone was very friendly and welcoming.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The main dining rooms were great and all the waiters were very friendly. one of the mornings we did the Grand Pacfic for breakfast and we got one of the best waiters I have ever had. He was so attentive to everyone's needs even if it was a very busy morning.
I didn't have to wait long in any of the main dining rooms or even the buffet for a table. We did only have four people, but if you reserve a table for a bigger group there will be no wait either.
I did only give 3 stars because I had a very bad experience with Cagney steak house. I cruise a lot and also make reservations for Cagney's. I always had a great experience but this time around it was not great. It was busy night, and the waiter forgot to give us bread. We waited over a hour for appetizers. Then waited a additional 40 min for our main course, and then 20 minutes for our sides that were cold by the time they got to us.
Onboard Activities

The fitness center was great plenty of treadmills. They had the dance lessons that I took part of everyday on a sea day. They were fun and easy and at night you were able to take the steps to the dance floor. The cardio dance classes in the morning were fun workout.
You will never get bored there is something for everyone from rock climbing to trivia
Entertainment

The stage shows were great, fun, entertaining, and there was one every night at 7 and at 9. That gave you a chance to see it.
There was music everywhere and for everyone from country to hip hop. All different generes of music.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward was the best. The rooms were very clean, and he was always very attentive to our needs. We had ice in our room every night.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
It was a very clean and well maintained ship. The cruisers on this ship were a little messy and they would leave cups on the floor on the decks and even in front of people's cabin doors, but it wasn't there for long.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
It was a very decent size cabin, has long as you keep things organized if you leave suitcases open it will be tight place for 4 people. The balcony was great and we always had beautiful views.
The bed was comfortable but not the sofa bed pull out. We had to rotate nights on that thing or if not one of us would of had a very sore back.
Ship tip
Bring a water bottle the water package is a little pricey.
It was great, very organized. I did the Coco Beach excursion, but I won't do it again. It was 15 for the ride over and you get coupons, but it was way too hot. We stayed only a hour, and we were surprised that we lasted that long, humidity was a killer.
This is the best beach I have been too. We rented clam shells 35 dollars each. Their was 4 of us so we only needed two clam shells. I loved it they have a barbecue for us. I also rented a yello float for 15, enjoyed it very much.
I did no excursions at this port because I wanted to explore on my own and do some shopping. I felt safe to go on your own, but there is a lot of people trying to convince you their stuff is the best, or trying to get you to pay to go around the island. They also hassle you to get your hair braided, but if you tell them no thank you. They pretty much leave you alone after.
It was great very organized the night before you get luggage tags for what time you want. They are colored, and you leave your luggage if you want outside the night before and they take it. The next day they announce the color and off you go off the ship.
