Review summary

Everything on the cruise was great only thing we didn't like is paying $32 for a case of water. Then we had to spill 2 bottles of water when we were in port Canaveral.

We did self check in so it went fast and way easier then the airport.

We loved Magenta main dining room over the Pacific. The Pacific was always a long wait and had to wait longer for our dinner and that didn't go well with the kids. We went to 3 specialty restaurants the Japanese restaurant was good and enjoyable. Italian restaurant was amazing. Our favorite was the steak house. The buffets were good always kept putting out food.

My 5 year old loved the kids club from day 1. Took my 9 1/2 year old a while because the other kids in his group were much younger. At the end when he gave have it chance he like it.

Everyone that works on Gem was very friendly and helpful. The crew did a great job while we were on the Gem.

Went to Coco Beach wasn't so thrilled at all. I would prefer to skip this port and go straight to Nassau Bahamas for 2 days.

Everything was great. My husband and son did the stingRay excursion they both said it was a great experience. They will definitely do it again.

A extra day would of been great to stay at Nassau Bahamas. We went to Atlantis and did the dolphin encounter our dolphin left and we did more waiting for the dolphin to come back wasn't happy. Next time we go again we will go to Blue Lagoon.

We took our own luggage and it went quick. I was in the cab by 8am.

We personally buy a 6 pack of 1 liter bottles at the beginning of the week and continually fill them up at the buffet station so we always have water. The water is perfectly fine on board and the $15 is much cheaper than a couple sports bottles, Brita filters, etc and lugging them from home. They are great on excursions because if we lose it... who cares. When I go up for my morning coffee, I take them with me and fill for the day.

Is the water bottle package worth it? Is drinking water easily available on the ship?

we bring a filtered water bottle and put alot of ice so it stays cold for quite a while.

That's one of the "oooops" people don't pay attention to....... the beverage policy is applicable at all ports not just embarkation port
