Review summary

This cruise was one of the best that I have ever had.  The ports of call were great and getting off and on the ship was fairly easy.  The food was exceptional with ample portions.  Both the main dining and buffet food satisfied my tastes.  However, there was some disappointment.  The wait staff in the main dining rooms were terribly slow.  They were courteous and seemed attentive to  your needs, but there were gaps as to how quickly they responded to a request.  Example (more than once), I like coffee with my dessert.  Coffee cups would be placed on the table, but it would be 15 minutes later when the coffee was actually served. Also, there were large time gaps between the appetizer and the main meal.  Again in the 10 to 20 minute time frame.  I like a leisurely dinner, but spending 1 and 1/2 hours to 1 and 3/4 hours at dinner is a little too much.

The evening live entertainment was especially good.  The dancing, singing, and other acts were top rate.  Highly talented performers.

Overall, I had a good time and would recommend this cruise.

Dining room service was a bit slow. Many times had to wait 10, 15, or 20 minutes between meal courses.
