Review summary

Everything to do with the 'boat ride' and the way we were fed and treated was excellent. The thing I we were upset and disappointed about was the Captain's decision to skip our stop at their island. I understand the Captain has the right to do this for 'safety reasons', as I was instructed when I went to the help desk aboard the boat. However, we contracted and looked forward to stopping at three locations on shore and spending a day on each. This of course meant staying on the boat an extended period of time that we did not desire to do. Yes, for safety reasons, I understand, but for good business practice and not to treat us like controlled dopes, give us something to compensate or satisfy us. Not an extra Bingo game or newly wed game. I feel cheated.

You're all missing the point. At least one of you said you got a $50 credit.

Got to go with the flow when cruising. Safety is number one. How bummed would you have been if he did stop and something happened? Talk about a ruined vacation then.

why feel cheated? if the captain felt it wasn't safe, he's not going to take that chance. Hundreds of passengers and crew on board, and her doesn't want anyone injured. We didn't stop at the island last year either, and because of that each cabin was given a compensation of $50 of on board credit. We still had a blast, but I guess if you have that kind of attitude you just won't enjoy yourself.
