Review summary

Overall we had an excellent time on the Norwegian Gem. There at times when we felt like there was slowness in service in the dinning room, some of the specialty restaurants, and bars. At the bars and lounges on multiple occasions the wait for a bar tender to take our order was lengthy, but the bar tenders did an awesome job preparing the drinks. We had to change a port due to a passenger being air lifted off the ship but the captain directed the process well and allowed us to still have 4 ports of call. We'll definitely cruise again on Norwegian.

Staff friendly and did their jobs but there were times especially at the bars when I felt like there were not enough staff to support the crowd trying to be served.

Cabin was clean and serviced well. We did not always get the animal towels or mints on our pillows like our friends aboard did.
