Review summary

This was my 5th cruise, the 2nd one on Norwegian.  This ship had a lot of hiding fees.  This was the first time that I had to pay for room services $7.95 per order.  The rooms on the Gem were very small and we had a suite with a balcony.  Not a lot to do on the ship.  The gift shop was not fully stock.  We were not happy at all with the Gem.

There is an easy fix...!! DONT ORDER ROOM SERVICE !!! It's not needed and plenty of free food late night to eat

Room service was free if you ordered in the AM for coffee, muffins, juice, toast. The Room service menu has only one section of free products. It was $7.?? Per call/delivery. Tons of hidden fees. It was so freakin annoying.

Then now he knows next time not to order

tennisman1982    9 years ago

As I said room service is not the most important part of cruising

tennisman1982    9 years ago

It's not fleet wide if I didn't get charged,if I had I'd agree with all of you but I didn't besides room service is not an important part of cruising,if you don't like the charge then don't order it

tennisman1982    9 years ago

And the gem was not one of those ships, like I said I was just on it and never got charged..

tennisman1982    9 years ago

First off it is not fact and I didn't get charged means everyone is WRONG..second read the dam article..what you posted is only a TRIAL and on 2 ships only..get the correct facts before blasting ncl jeez

tennisman1982    9 years ago

your articles you post is incorrect I had room service and use it every time I cruise with ncl and NEVER have a charge

tennisman1982    9 years ago

No there isnt..I had room service every night and was not charged..there is no fee

tennisman1982    9 years ago

and there was plenty to do on the ship,we were never in our stateroom except to sleep

tennisman1982    9 years ago
