Review summary

This is our 3rd time on the Gem. We love the layout. It is well maintained. The Great Outdoors buffet is great spot for breakfast and lunch.

In general the food is excellent and the variety is very good. We enjoy the dining options. The only con was some of the fish dishes were a little dry on this trip.

Entertainment

For the most part the entertainment was excellent. There were plenty of activities for the family. I wasn't wild about the hypnosis show.

Children's Programs

Our 10 year old enjoyed the kids club. He was able to check himself in and out. He was only sorry he didn't discover it earlier in the week.

Good for souvenir and gift shopping. Our 13 year old enjoyed the fort and museum excursion

Don't Miss: The sing ray feeding and snorkeling excursion our 10 year old loved it.

Port Canaveral, Florida

We already did several excursions in this port on previous trips. So this time we just took the Coco Beach Shuttle and hung out for the afternoon. There are a few stores near the drop off point in case you forgot something.
