A great time for the family

Sail Date: July 03, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

This was a great time. We sailed through a storm and the crew handled it very well, even though many passengers and some crew felt seasick. The crew still took care of the passengers and our room steward made a special effort to ask about my daughter who was seasick.

Pros: The Gem was full of opportunity - to relax, have fun or go wild...whatever you wanted.

Cons: Some of the food in the buffet wasn't hot - only lukewarm.

Best thing to do here...swim in the ocean. All of our excursions were great, but don't forget the part of your vacation where you are supposed to relax in the warm ocean waters.
