Review summary

Not too bad given the weather and high winds, boat was a rocking! Main pool is always full and good chairs are gone by breakfast because entitled idiots go and set their stuff on them to claim all day even though they are only there for a couple hours in prime hours.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Didn’t take long at all, quite smooth

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Overall quite good. Buffet can get busy for breakfast, I suggest going to one of the main dining rooms or O’Sheens if you eat early. Always love the specialty restaurants, especially Cagneys and tepenyakki

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Need some updating. Don’t really see anyone on the rope course, could use some more updated activities. My youngest loved the basketball court, but that was about it.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Choir of Men was awesome, a must see!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Top notch and drinks were mostly consistent.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Cleanliness was great, but the ship is older and getting outdated

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Bathroom updated, but the rest not so much. Tight room for family of 4, but we made it work

Ship tip

Book specialty restaurants early

Ports of call

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

Finally a perfect day when the sun came out with no high winds. We had a cabana for all 8 of us so the experience was a lot better with a server and food runner for us. The server was awesome, just asked if we wanted drinks and he came back with a tray full of cocktails and beers. He never had to come back and we got a good beach buzz.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Megan’s bay was awesome, make sure you get a Cruzin Confusion at the bar (not advertised). The beach pizza was actually pretty damn good. We went shopping after that, which I don’t care for, but was able to walk around with drinks on the street.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

Other than the weather being top notch s**t, we were able to get through the caves in Gorda before it stormed. The whole family and our group loved that excursion. Didn’t get to see much more as we got back with only 15min left to board ship, just a quick trip to the port shops.

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic

Monkeyland was worth it, wife and kids loved it. It does look a little suspect out of port as expected since it is not a rich country.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy breezy. Was out the room and on the bus to airport in just over an hour
