Review summary

With any cruise go with the flow! Things happen like fog. It's out of everyone's control so don't spin out of control

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation was for the most part very good. But, we were told to sit in section C and the guy in that section told us to sit in Section D because it was all one section. We were genuinely confused also because we got boarding cards with a group number but we had the Priority Access which was called before the group number we had on the card.

We weren't going to do a MDR this cruise due to the horrible experience on our last one but I'm glad we went it was AMAZING! Night and day!

When it was open we got Macaroons that were perfect!

Atrium Bar

5 out of 5

Drinks were super strong!!! Bartenders were quick.

La Cucina

5 out of 5

The food was AMAZING! The waitress was really nice but could tell she was new or over worked or both. We found out that the dining package had changed to where we got one less course and the waitress was kind enough to get that extra course for us.

Mandara Spa & Salon

The spa was wonderful we did the thermal suite and it was worth every penny! The only downside was that some of the jets in the thermal pool were not working but it wasn't crowded so you got to use the other ones!

Ropes Course

5 out of 5

It was great! Love the multiple levels! I wish all the ziplines were open all the time but the full course was never open due to maintenance

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
They wiped down everything! I'm surprised they didn't run out of cleaning supplies.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was nice and spacious. However, it was the first time with a forward balcony, and we were woken up several times with the anchor being dropped for tender ports and serious vibrations of the forward engines. While docking.

Ship tip

Do the little thing as well as the big things. They had serveal game shows in the Atrium that we didn't think we would enjoy and did

Ports of call

Portland, Maine

5 out of 5
Portland was good but the only thing that there was to do in the immediate area was to ride the train which was nice. But people were on without buying tickets which was annoying for those of us that did buy tickets.

Newport, Rhode Island

5 out of 5
Tendering took a while. The wait for a tender back to the port as at least 1.5 hours (the longest we heard). Port itself was fine. Note they use the lifeboats for tendering.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

5 out of 5
My Favorite port! When you pull into the port it's very indurialized. But when you get out and walk a bit down the pier it is so nice and there are different foods and local places to visit. People were out of this world accommodating. I would 100% do this port again!

Bar Harbor, Maine

5 out of 5
Tender was much better. People were nice contrary to popular belief. The fog rolled in as we were leaving and delayed our departure.

Saint John, New Brunswick

5 out of 5
Honestly, people were nice and the terminal was nice. There is a container city right next to the port with some shops and stuff. But that's about it. The fog made for w serine calm effect.

New York, New York

Disembarkation

As always took so long with all the elevators being full of luggage.
