Waste of money, big bathroom but shower just takes forever to drain so the extra shower heads do nothing.
I can back up your story about the room steward not allowing you in the room when you came back. It happened to us 4 of our 7 days last week. We were gone on excursions ALL DAY from around 7am to 4. Our room was not serviced while we were out all day despite our correct use of the "make up room" lights. We wanted to go in and take showers to go to dinner but shortly after we arrived "home" the steward knocked to come in and clean and told us to step outside because he was "off at 6." Another day my daughter was already in the shower in her adjoining room, so he "let" us go sit in her room while he cleaned ours. Most bizarre experience we have ever had with a room steward after many, many cruises. We did report it to customer service.
I cruised on the Norwegian Escape once. To me, it was just as good as their other ships. Not exceptional. But not bad either. Maybe it was just a bad week.
I'm sorry you had a terrible time.
I have been on the Escape twice, I never experienced anything like this. Even your complaint about the security policy for the children's program doesn't make sense, you want them to release your child to any stranger?
Appreciate your feedback. However, I must agree with other comments. Some of your details seem unlikely, like getting into your room. But I know strange things can happen, so if all this negative situation is accurate, so sorry!
