The cruise was an excellent experience once we were on the ship. Almost all aspects were well run and the service was top notch. Frankly, it was the best for any cruise I have done. The food and beverages were excellent. Entertainment was good with some excellent shows and some bad ones mixed in. The mini-suite with balcony was totally worth it (for a small family). My main complaint was the customer service prior to boarding was terrible and the Norwegian phone App is poor.

The mainline theater shows were great. The comedy club was awesome (daughter loved PG level visit). Live music was poor. Went to two shows and both were lackluster with music that was very old (70's or earlier).

Mini-suite was perfect for three people (two adults and one small child). The perks were great too! Bathroom was better than most of the hotels that I stay at.
Ship tip
Book your entertainment as soon as you get on the vessel. They fill up very quickly.
Did waterfall excursion. Very unique experience, but a huge amount of waiting around. I recommend to do once if you like adventure trips, but I would not do a second time.
Did snorkeling off catamaran. The two stops were distinct and had different aquatic wildlife. The crew was solid (but not amazing). Second stop was at beach bar and restaurant which had some local dishes which were very good.
Great beach scene run by Norwegian. Zipline experience is totally worth it. However, Norwegian needs to build a dock. Tendering is awful and communication was terrible. #Buildthedock
