Excellent cruise experience! Food, Service and entertainment were outstanding! They always made you feel like you were special and that they knew you. It was a great time. ports of call were great with lots of excursion options. Especially like the zip line & snorkel with lunch excursion in Roatan booked through Cruise with Points. Very fun!
Embarkation

Pretty quick considering how many passengers they have to board. Best to do preboard docs ahead of time and go down the day before sailing.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Manhattan DR (main) was our favorite including dining room. We also went to Carney’s (steak house) and Bayamo (Seafood) where the food was outstanding. Portions in all restaurants very generous and very artfully served. The Garden Cafe (buffet) had quite a variety, which was good for early AM coffee, breakfast, lunch and snacks throughout the day with easy access from pool area. Great soft serve ice cream. Only thing was it was the last restaurant to close at 9:30 Pm. Wished it was open a little later. Service in all the restaurants and buffet was excellent.
Onboard Activities

Great fitness center and great equipment. Always had people in it but you could find what you wanted to do. The water slides were fun, especially liked the lazy river water slide that gave you a brief view of the ocean below. It had an obstacle course but we did not try it.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The entertainment was superb. Thumbs up for Choir of Men, and band in Syd Normans Pour House (tribute to Fleetwood Mac’s Rumors album was great). Get there early or you have to stand for 45 minute shows. Preferred the shows in the theater because it as a bigger venue and lots of seats. Liked that shows were kept to 45-60 minutes. Cruise director was great and fun. Kept us going and laughing. Lots to do on board.
Children's Programs
I did not have any children on board.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All of the ships personnel that provided services: room stewards, waiters, concierge- help for questions were all very good and helpful. Service in the full dining rooms and specialty restaurants were especially attentive. Our room steward, Michael was outstanding. Everything was just top notch!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship layout was great and easy to learn way around. All was kept very clean with lots of sanitizer throughout the ship and staff reminded us ,in buffet area to “washy-washy”. It was odd they allowed smoking in the casino which was a turn off.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Lots of room with unobstructed views. Loved having a balcony. Loved having a king size bed altho mattress was a bit thin and hard. Although I had no issues, my husband is over 6 ft tall, so the shower was a little uncomfortable for him with his head hit the ceiling. Overall the cabin was great as we didn’t spend much time in it. Being mid ship was great with little to no movement felt.
Ship tip
Learn layout and know Fore from Aft early on. Easy to get turned around on the ship. Know and understand what you have included, in terms of internet, drink packages, etc..Try all the main dining rooms. Breakfast is much better in DR than buffet.
Went down a day early, highly recommend this but did not do an excursion. Stayed at hotel near the airport which picked us up and returned us in the AM to catch the cruise line shuttle.
Coxen Hole was easy to disembark and find excursion meeting point, since this excursion was not booked through NCL. We did Zip n Snorkel with lunch. Zip lining wasn’t blast after getting past the initial nervousness. Snorkeling was amazing. Got to hold Starfish. Lunch was chicken, plantains and coleslaw. Good time!
Colorful and fun! Before excursion, saw the Voladores (flying Men) in the port center square. They were amazing. From there we met our tour guide, got on the Jaguar Bus (red open air), saw a few sites and then stopped to get our bicycles. We rode a tandem and went through the jungle to a cenote (limestone freshwater pond) where we stopped and swam for a while. We were fed a fabulous fajita lunch. We then went to the beach where we could kayak, paddle board, shop or rest. There was also tequila tasting for those interested. A great day that covered a lot to do. People were very gracious and our guide was great!
Another colorful port with easy off and on and lots to see. Went to Chichen Itza today. First we had a 45 minute ferry ride from the dock to Playa Del Carmen, where we met our guide. It was a very long van ride, and altho a new Mercedes van with about 18 passengers, there was no leg room and very hard to move around. My husband is over 6ft so his knees were boring into the seat in front of him. I being much smaller was unable to cross my legs. The ruins and pyramids are an amazing site.
