Review summary

We really enjoyed our cruise but the crowds were a lot to deal with. No fault of the cruise but lots of guests were just rude and out of control. Maybe our fault as we didn't realize it was Spring Break but it wasn't the College kids out of control it was the adults! Too many people drinking non stop, maybe NCL should put a daily drink limit, don't get me wrong we drink too but not to excess!

Embarkation

9 to 930 arrival time but previous ship was delayed. Checked in around 10am on board by 1030am!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All food quality was excellent, some times service was slow or confused. I felt like a lot of training was going on

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Pools super crowded, did not do any other activities

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved choir of man and the Elton John show! Howl at the Moon is always a great time!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Taste seemed to struggle, felt as maybe they were the training area. Savor and Manhattan were great. Bars typically had only one server, we thought this might be to keep people from drinking too much!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Always clean, ladies rooms often smelled but were being cleaned often

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Always love NCL balconies!

Ship tip

Make reservations for dinners and excursions well in advance online!

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Saw a rocket launch!

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Took NCL tour "Eco hike to St John" which was not as advertised and disappointing. Complained to excursion desk and was given a $20 refund on a $160 excursion! Not cool

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic

2 out of 5
Tantio bay was nice but crowded, once we left the port area it was a non stop constant haggle with guys wanting to give us a tour. They got down right rude when we said no thank you politely. So much so we turned around and went back in the ship

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

3 out of 5
Just walked around some. Time in Port is not conducive to doing much

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

5 out of 5
Great time as always!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Super easy, use a porter to help expedite the process!
