Determined we aren’t NCL fans. Went on this cruise bc our friends were booked on it. Nice to be with friends and family but a holiday week was overwhelming for the cruise ship staff.
Embarkation
2 out of 5
It was very disorganized. I dropped off part of my family and luggage and parked my car at the Port Parking. When I finally got back to the boat the line to boars was so long- to the end of that ship. I was able to catch up with our family members who had been waiting for an hour.

Food and Dining
2 out of 5
This was hit or miss. The main dining room was a mess. Our party of 9 was seated at a table that was for 6-7. We we squished in. This was the first night. We tried the main dining room on the second to last night and again our waiter was well over his head. Dinner was very long and drawn out. Items were delivered out of order. Requests were forgotten. The speciality dining was much nicer and enjoyable.
Onboard Activities

Liked the pool and mini golf.
Entertainment

Based on how long our dinners took we had a hard time making shows. The activities that we could reserve, we only had part of our party get tickets. Luckily the others were able to get in standby.
Service and Staff

Our room steward was great. But some of the bar tenders and servers showed their stress and frustrations.
Ship Quality

Many times areas had glasses and blows sit downs very long time in Public places.
Disappointed in the private island. Had been there before and rented a premier cabana for our group. The server had 10 cabanas to cover. We
Was scarily seen. We ended up getting our own drinks and food. Sad that the bar close to use wouldn’t provide certain drinks- (mojitos) made us walk to the rum bar for us to get ourselves. Before we had a fruit and veggie tray. This is no longer. Also before the cabana had lounge chairs. Now they are more upright chairs and no lounge. Had to use the ones on the beach which defeated the fact that our family wasn’t at the cabana.
