The NCL Western Caribbean cruise was one of the best values out there. With 4 unique ports and so many once in a lifetime options for excursions, you can go wrong with this choice. Additionally, the crew on board the NCL Escape made it a pleasure being on this ship.

The best meals we had were at Bayamo and Le Bistro. As a runner up, O'Sheehan's Thai Chili Wings were also very good.

Although the pools and hot tubs were crowded, it's always nice to relax with a drink in hand.

The Howl at the Moon dueling piano bar was the best show on the ship. Jim, Whitney, and Orin brought a high level of energy to the venue and entertained the crowd.

The staff were all great. I spoke to a large amount of them and they always took special care of me whether it was the room attendant, the bartenders, or the wait staff. There were plenty of instances where I would be walking by one of the bars and the bartender already had a drink poured out for me.

The ship was cleaned constantly to reduce sickness.

The size of this cabin was perfect. Although I only spent time in here when resting, it was spacious.
Ship tip
It pays to spend a few minutes and talk to the different crew members. Sometimes this can result and free bottles or sparkling wine, chocolate covered strawberries or even a late night dessert sent to your room from an appreciative staff member.
We did not select an official excursion, but we did find https://monkeyandslothhangout.com/home/ which was incredible! Here you are able to see and hold both sloths and monkeys. The cost was only $10 USD to get in. Something which should be added as an official excursion.
