Review summary

While I enjoyed this cruise, I wouldn't do it again. It was too cold for a cruise and cruise lines aren't really geared up for the cold weather cruises.

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The main dining rooms were very good. We also went to Teppanyaki which was disappointing.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Due to the cold weather, the outdoor activities were not in full swing or operating at all

Entertainment

2 out of 5
I thought the headliner comedian was terrible and there weren't enough shows for the number of people on board the cruise.

Children's Programs

Didn't bring children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We had one negative issue with a hostess but everyone else was outstanding

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very nice

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The bathroom was a good size but the bed was positioned right next to the closet which made it difficult to get to clothing. The size was fine.

Ports of call

New York, New York

4 out of 5
We went to Empire State Building and to One World Trade. Both great.

Saint John, New Brunswick

5 out of 5
We did the Bay of Fundy coast to shore tour and it was great. Our tour guide, Keith, was informative and entertaining and St. John was beautiful. The only down side was how crowded it was. I waited in line 20 minutes to use the bathroom.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

4 out of 5
We did Best of Halifax and Peggy's Cove. Peggy's Cove was beautiful. We didn't care for our tour guide although she was knowledgeable and our bus driver hit a car which was a bit disturbing. The weather wasn't great but the scenery was.

Bar Harbor, Maine

5 out of 5
We took Olli's Trolley to Acadia National Park. Beautiful!

Portland, Maine

4 out of 5
We did the Scenic Route Maine Tours and got great pictures of the lighthouse. Other than that, it was kind of boring. Portland it very picturesque though.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy. We did self-assist

I am sure Bermuda would have been ALOT warmer than the New England/Canada cruise the OP was on.

Im sure it’s beautiful To see but I would never take a cold-weather cruise ever I feel like it’s a complete waste staring at a pool that you can’t go in beach stairs you can’t lay on no sun just not for me
