Review summary

Ship was big. I did my daily walks by walking around the cabins on my floor several times when the weather was too cold or windy to be on the tracks

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Food was below average. We stopped by east coast harbors famous for lobsters and yet no lobsters were offered on the menu. We bought lobster rolls while we were on shore from a restaurant. NY strip steaks on menu tastes like it was from Ponderosa's kitchen. Sauces on food were bland. Roast ducks were not crispy. Very disappointed in their food. This was my first NCL cruise but fifth cruise overall and I wouldn't book NCL in future just because their food was not up to par.

I can't believe about the food tasting bad or no lobster being offered because I had lobster when we went to my main dinner room to eat. Remember people your vacation is what you make of it. And Ncl and Carnival and every Cruise got different meals even when you go outside to eat the food could be worst and you could even get food poisoning. So people need to stop complaining and just be happy.

We've cruised many times with Norwegian and even if the food might not have tasted good for one day, doesn't mean all chefs are the same. Did you eat in the MDR each night? We do unless we need to catch a show or other activities at night. So, for this one cruise with bad food, you'll be giving up cruises to have a Freestyle of a time. I've cruised with Princess, HAL, Royal and Carnival and never once I don't think had too many untasteful meals. By the way you can go out to eat on land and the food can be terrible.
